In... but terrible Senioritus...

I come to you as an accepted student into the class of 2014 (HORRAY!). The only problem is that I am writing this at 12 AM studying for a Humanities exam I have in the morning for post-secondary. :(

Needless to say, I’m not progressing far and I was wondering… anyone else having problems with senioritus (especially now that you’re accepted). I’ve been an A/A- student throughout HS and did well first semester. This semester I’m doing well, though (admittedly) it has been much harder. :p

Mostly this is out of my own boredom and to get to know some people also heading into the class of 2014 so share your thoughts on this crippling disease.

I’ve got it BAD. I had it last year! =P But yeah. I’m really learning to skate by on what I need, not what I want. I rocked the hardest class any of the seniors are taking last semester with a 95% (from a teacher who takes enjoyment in making students cry during tests)…and now I’m definitely realizing 4 hours of studying for a test can be condensed into 1 and I can pass by with a much lower test grade. Except now I’m skirting out of A territory, which might be bad road to start on this late in the game. Gah!

I’m just ready for it to be over! Gotta get through three AP tests and then I’m home free. Only two finals this year - and only one of them is a test. Almost there, almost there…

Glad I didn’t go the AP route at this point, though post-secondary has had some burdensome tasks. :)

I’m also lucky to be half way through my Calc I class with a 99%. Now I don’t feel the need to worry about anything.

I had some surgery (well two actually) and the last one requires me to wear a wound vac for the next month or two so I am just waiting until summer and trying to keep up. :p

Senioritis is the most amazing thing in the world. Embrace it. Northwestern Class of 2014 is on its way! I visited the campus and confirmed my love for the school. Money or not, I’m going!

I feel that.

Senioritis is like the B!+ch who comes out to play every time the weather is 50+ degrees and slaps you like a mother whence MAY/AP season creeps in. She’s been a playmate of mine since junior year…

ONE.MORE.MONTH. TILL END OF APs!!!

FYI: Do NOT do that at NU. The studying at 12am for an exam. You will fail. Not even joking. Classes move way too fast and cover a lot of material. Especially hard sciences and math. It’s my third quarter here, but I learned that after week 3 of classes…my first midterm (yay quarter system!).

But on a lighter note… YAY!!! for being accepted to the best school EVER!!!
