In Demand College Course

For you, what would be the best college course nowadays?

Well, I think that it would vary based on what people’s majors are. At my school, though, Psychology courses are always popular because they are interesting, have no prerequisites, and are available to everyone. So the most in-demand courses would be things like Child and Adolescent Psychopathology, Human Sexuality, Social Psychology, etc. Public Health, Anthropology, Sociology, and English courses are also popular.

But for me, my “best college course” was Discrete Mathematics, and I’m excited for the other Applied Math courses I’ll be taking.

This is a really odd question. There is no “best” college course. It entirely depends on your major and interests. At my college, the two largest classes are intro to psych and intro to oceanography, while the class everyone is dying to take is Wines.

Thank you @OnMyWay2013  So I guess you are good in mathematics? What is your school, btw?

Thank you @Ranza123  What’s your course btw and what school if you don’t mind?

Depending on the college, likely the most taken classes will be Intro Calc, Intro Economics, Intro Programming, Intro Chemistry, and Intro English.

Beyond those types of classes that are required for many majors (like the ones I listed), it seemed that Data Structures was very widely taken by many majors which didn’t specifically require it.

But do you know of a course that is really growing nowadays into a certain country? Like it’s very in demand, like most of the companies offer that kind of job? Thank you! @Vladenschlutte

When the OP says “course,” I think we should be reading “major” and not “class.”

Yes, course=major not class  Thank you @halcyonheather

Oh, I understand what you’re asking now. I’d say the fastest growing majors would be those related to technology. Computer science and various types of engineering are widely popular at my college. But of course engineering and technology aren’t for everyone; they certainly aren’t for me! In response to your other questions, I actually haven’t declared a major yet and I go to Cornell University.

Oh, thanks for clearing that up. Yeah, I agree with computer science and engineering. Business and business-related majors are also popular because they’re very versatile, whether you want to work in a finance-related job, become an entrepreneur, or run a company. Health-related majors such as Nursing, Public Health, Physical Therapy, etc. are also always in demand.

And I forgot about your other questions. I’m not the best at math, but I really love it. And I go to Johns Hopkins University (hence the blue jay :P).

Everyone is always trying to get into Bowling, Wine Appreciation, History of Rock n Roll, and Floral Arranging. They’re not large classes, but everyone is always trying to get into them as they’re apparently interesting and easy classes.

Edit: oh, I kept reading. I’d say that mechanical engineering is probably the largest major at my school.

Thank you for your answer. There are a lot of diverse courses globally that are in demand nowadays. But now I know thst various types of Engineering and Computer Science are top choices by many students. @Ranza123

So, Business courses, Engineering courses, and Medical courses are in demand? @OnMyWay2013

Yup!
