Should I mention that over a period of two years, my Junior and Senior year I managed to save just about $40,000 from working to help pay for my college tuition? Would this be considered personal or an accomplishment? Where do you think I should mention this at, throughout the application? This is really random, but I’m just curious. I actually saved $33,500 but I already had $7,000 from my grandmother’s death.

I think it could depend on how you earned it.

I worked every single day (5 hours a day) (8 hours on the weekends).
I got my money legit of course ![]()
And I put back every single dime in my savings account.

I would say go for it - not many teenagers have the persistence/patience to do save so much money

Put it in your essay, but just be aware now that those savings will count against you on the FAFSA.
