<p>My counselor says I’m in the area where I should just apply to wherever I want. But should I SCEA to Yale? Or am I wasting my time?</p>

  • Family Income fairly wealthy – no financial aid or anything I’m guessing
  • Asian Male – first generation born in America</p>

  • GPA: 3.8 unweighted
  • Counselor says Top 5%, maybe higher (school doesn’t rank)
  • New SAT I: 760 math, 740 verbal, 690 writing 11 essay = 2190 total (retaking October)
  • SAT II: 780 Math IIC, 790 US History, 770 Biology M
  • Have been taking most rigorous curriculum available
  • AP
