In State or Out State?

Hello, quick question, should I state in state or out state university.

I live in Georgia, and I can get a full scholarship here in state if I go to University of Georgia, which ranks 59 now in top college list, or Georgia Tech (#35). That will save a lot money, especially tuition and many.

Then there are kinda ok colleges out state, such as University of Michigan, few place ahead of UGA, but the tuition going to be near 45,000 a year for out state students.

Also, I want to major in Business, UGA has really good business program but it ranks lower than GA tech, which is heavily on engineering stuff, so is the overall ranking of the college important or find the right school with the right major?

Thank you

depends on what you're looking for

i'm georgian, also easily had hope, but went to vandy because i like it more...and because i would never in my right mind go to a school that wasn't in the SEC. have you visited vandy?

Do UGA Hope Scholarship-- saving the $$$ for grad school in Ann Arbor or elsewhere.

Unless you go to an out of state private school that has a lot of money to give you, stay with the top schools in state ;)

I would go with the GA Tech Business program if it is better than UGA, despite overall rankings. However, the final decision should be more on where you like the most. Ignore the numbers.
