In state tuition with Aunt in Los Angeles?

Hello,

I have an aunt who lives in Thousand Oaks, and I’m out of state from Maryland. Is there any way I could leverage that to get a cheaper rate? Cost of attendance would be a major barrier for me…since UMD might give me some hefty scholarships.

UMD is a decent school, with the basketball program looking real hot right now.
Anyway, unless your aunt supports your tuition, don’t count on the in-state tuition.
