I couldn’t do this job. It has to be impossible sometimes to leave your soul at the door.
Seeing that today on the news made my heart break. Seeing so many people, and especially children and others such as elderly, have to experience this in their lives, or be their lives, makes me feel so many emotions. Blessed that I am not living this way. Frustrated that I can’t do more, or anything, to stop this. Angry that this is going on. Extremely sad for the many, many people whose lives are being destroyed.
The world just seems to be getting so much more violent. Maybe we are just hearing more about it because of 24 hour news on the Internet and social media. IDK
I’ve seen that video probably 10 times now and I still cry every time.
