School: Very Good Public (20-30 to UVA, 10-15 to ivies)
GPA: 3.82 (no bump for honors, .5 for APs, crappy grading scale: 94-100=4.0, 90.93=3.5)
Rank: School doesnt rank but most likely top 5%
Race: Asian Female in Northern Virginia</p>

<p>SAT I: 2280 (710 CR, 780 M, 790 W)
SATII: 790 USH, 780 Chem, 780 Math II
AP’s: Chem, APUSH, Lang/ Comp (expecting at least all 4’s… im too cheap to pay extra 8 bucks =b)

UVA could be a safety for you but its impossible to say
one safety that people said for me (similar situation to you) was UMich…which is a really really good school so you should look there

<p>Wow, the grading scale is very unusual… You should have your counselor clarify to the colleges that they have this very strange grading scale, and do not report rank. That is, if the scale is not on your transcript.</p>
