In urgent need of help

Good day everyone.I wrote the SAT in 2013 at first after my grade eleven and scored 1460. I felt really discouraged knowing that my dreams of one day attending a top school was shattered. I decided to take a gap year and wrote the SAT in 2014 and scored an 1860. 630 writing and critical reading, 600 in math. This time around I applied to some schools and got accepted to only one which is Hendrix college. I know Hendrix is a good school but my dream is to one day attend an ivy league school or a top liberal art college.I know i may sound condescending and non appreciative of my admission to Hendrix college but that is not how i view it. i really appreciate my admission. I am considering writing the SAT and applying for fall admission next year. I will love to score 2200+. Please do you guys think it is a good idea, and what SAT preparation techniques do you all advice me to use.

Thanks in advance for your anticipated help , support and cooperation.

Your being a little unrealistic

Your obsession over going to an ivy or top LAC is about realistic and as necessary to your life’s fullfillment as my getting a date with brad pitt.

GET OVER IT. You’re wasting your time if you take a SECOND gap year obsessing over this. There are many alternate paths to success & happiness.

MOVE ON WITH YOUR LIFE.

I agree with the above posters - you may want to just accept the offer to Hendrix, and do not waste another gap year.

If you do decide to apply to an Ivy (as a transfer), realize that admissions is extremely competitive and you likely won’t get in, even with a 2200+ SAT.

Lastly, there’s more to life than attending an Ivy or top college.
