Miss Porter’s is generally the most renowned and well-known around the country. I have a few friends there and my mom has a ton ton of friends who did. They all love(d) it. I haven’t heard of any of the others. sorry

I would have to add Foxcroft to that list. Although it is not known as being an academic powerhouse, Foxcroft is well known & the name carries considerable weight in all the right places. The women it has produced over the years are quite remarkable. They are the change-the-world, global/political philanthropist set.

I think Porter’s and Emma Willard are the top two.
Take a look at Westover and Maderia as well.

Porter’s is the most academically rigorous. I absolutely love it! Best decision I ever made.
