Hello, I am a rising senior applying to University of Florida. One of the topics is to write the inaugural address because you have just been elected President of the United States.
I know that college essays should not be about political issues, so would it be appropriate for me to talk about something fictional, such as an alien attack on planet Earth? Would this hurt my chances, assuming that I do write a good and well-rounded essay?
Any suggestions for other fictional problems are gladly welcomed as well. Thanks for reading!
