Including a business when it's legally not under my name?

I “own” two businesses, and these are a phone & tablet repair business and an Amazon.com business. I want to put these on my essays to colleges in the future, but I’m not sure whether these businesses can be put on an essay without arousing suspicion given my situation.

These businesses and their assets are legally under my older brother’s name and not my name as the minimum age in my circumstance to own both of these businesses is 18, and my age is under this minimum age. I run the entire show, however - my older brother has no involvement asides from legally owning the businesses. These businesses can definitely be transferred to my name once I become 18. I have evidence of my involvement in the form of social media accounts, chat logs with suppliers overseas, invoices, etc.

Would I be able to include these businesses on my essays if I explain the situation, or would it be better to not include these at all? I’m looking at applying to the Ivies, so including as many of my achievements as possible will matter.

If these are real efforts, not just once in a while, you’re fine. No need to explain. Just understand that they are not tips. And if they are mentioned, (you said, in your essay,) make sure you know what it is an Ivy is really looking for.
