Including low income on transfer app

Hi everyone,

I’m planning on writing a diversity statement for my transfer application to Harvard and Yale. Should I include that I am low income? Like really really low income? Would it hurt my application?

Also, would it be a good reason to transfer to Harvard or Yale since my tuition is quite expensive?
