Incoming Freshman, I Need Help!

Hi,

I am an incooming freshman for next year and it says that orientation is required but I still have school and I am taking my finals. What should I do? Who should I email? Help please!

Also, what do I need to do to get a minor in Public Health?

Please and Thank you,
Kiana

Check with admissions. Typically orientation is in the summer.

I double check and it is in summer, but the problem is my father does not want to make the trip just for orientation. What should I do?

Express to your father that it is critical you go to orientation because at that time you will have the opportunity to register for your fall semester courses. Also it will be beneficial to sign up for the first couple of orientations if you wait for the later ones there is a greater chance that you will not get the classes you wanted to take.

you have to go. I’m excited.

My father doesnt want to pay. He refuses and he says it a waste of money. So I can go. They will call me of the 7th to get my classes in order.

Kiana,

email Adelgadillo@ucmerced.edu and see if he can help you
