First of all, I’m going into the CNAS with a major in biological sciences. I can only make the last session for orientation and I want to be able to pick my classes without limitation or conflict of the classes already being full. I always want to be able to go to medical school. What do I do? Is there a way I can register for my classes online? Also, does anyone recommend classes to take as a pre-med, biology major? I appreciate all the help! (:
answer please? (:
Do you have a class registration time at the moment? Most UC’s give class registration times based on the # of units you have. As an in-coming Freshman, you have a low # of units (AP/IB credits) or no credits, so you are low priority. As a Freshman, most of your classes will be taking will be lower division so your only competition will be other Freshman. To get priority registration, you need to be an athlete, Regents scholar or Honor student. I would call admissions and ask if you can sign up for classes prior to orientation. If not then you will have to flexible with your schedule.
