I’m applying to UT. And my UT EID says that my application status is incomplete, but the MyStatus checklist says that everything is done, and everything has been sent. What does this mean? Please help!

We don’t have crystal balls. Why are you awaiting strangers’ guesses when you can pick up a telephone?

I’ve tried that, thank you. You don’t have to be rude. The whole purpose of this website is to get HELP. I didn’t know if it was something common or not.

Hello Hook, it could mean a few things. Most likely, because this is peak application season, it could just mean that they haven’t processed all the transcripts, recommendations and other material yet. If it has been more than 3-4 weeks, then you should double check with your school that your transcripts and recommendations have been sent. You should also double check that your SAT score reports were sent to the correct schools, and last but not least, double check that the application payment has been processed. If all of these check out, then just call the school and see if they can clarify anything that might be missing from your application.

It’s a tense time and a long wait sometimes … best of luck that you get in!

T26E4 is not being rude. it’s the truth, asking us will probably not answer your question.

i’m not sure for UT, but NYU’s Albert (where you check your app status) takes a long time to update. if you don’t want to call, you can always check with your college counselor to ask if everything’s sent in. otherwise, to be absolutely certain, calling UT admissions would be your best bet.
