<p>where did you get these numbers from? some seem off… are the 2006 numbers for the class of 2010 (which applied in 2006)?</p>

<p>The numbers are from IPEDS. They refer to the years in which the freshman class entered. 2001 is the freshmen who applied for fall 2001 admission.</p>

<p>How much does this affect acceptance rates? What is the difference between number enrolled and number applying to these places? Are they rejecting the difference, or allowing more to attend?</p>

<p>I’m guessing that the sheer number growth award would have to go to San Diego State: 21610 40959 19349 89.5%</p>
