Increasing Rigor

Okay, so I haven’t really been serious about college until this year (Junior Year). I’ve been thinking about applying to SJSU my whole life, so I didn’t really care what I did in High School. However, I recently wanted to go higher…to apply to the UCs (UCSD, UCLA, UC Berkeley…) Therefore, I’ve been trying to enroll is more difficult classes…my question is, is it too late?

My high school schedule was not that rigorous…concerning honors/AP/IB courses, my freshman year had english honors. My sophomore year had english honors as well. (Didn’t take AP World History even though my school offered it). Now I’m in my Junior year taking IB Bio SL, AP Calculus AB, and IB English HL.

I’m planning on taking AP Chemistry, AP Calculus BC, IB English HL, and IB Spanish SL next year.

My school offered the full IB Diploma schedule and AP World History, but I didn’t take the chance…now it’s too late. Will this hurt my chances greatly?

I mainly get As. I only have 1-2 Bs.
