In the back of my mind, I think that people should do what they love because you only live once so you should enjoy it. But at the same time, you need money to survive in this world. And I guess the goal in life is to be able to afford your needs AND wants?
I really want to work in a big media company- to be an illustrator or animator, and be able to make people smile from it. Therefore, I chose media as a major (I’m a freshman). I hear people choosing arts and humanities, or graphic design or my major and have these big dreams and I can’t tell if I admire them and think they’re brave, or think it’s dumb because I’m so worried about money and scared to do it. Scared that it’ll be useless.
So I try to address my other interests like computer science, nutrition, maybe even something scientific.
