Independent Study or Lab Science?

I have the option of applying for a semester-long independent study at my school for seniors only. I’m considering one in either Roman history or novel-writing, but doing so will eliminate the possibility of a lab science next year. If I do the IS, I’ll likely be doing Neuro-Psych or Macro Econ as a 2nd semester elective. Will this hurt college admissions? I’m a humanities person by and large, so I’m not sure if another year of lab sciences will benefit me too much.

Do you already have a lab science in your record? How much science have you taken. You need to see what your prospective colleges require for science.

I have 3 lab sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).

Bump.
