I recently passed the AP English Language test with out taking the class. I do not know if I will retake the test. How would it appeal to colleges if I take the class but not the test?

Also, I want to take another Independent Study class but I do not know for certain if I will be taking the AP test, how is that looked upon?

And finally, can you tell college board to seal some of your test results?

Since you already took the test, it should not really matter to the college. It’ll look a bit odd, but nothing negative.

If your IS class counts in your transcript, it will look suspicious if you do not follow up with the AP exam. From what I have read, Ivy League admissions will be wondering why you did not take the AP after taking the class. As for other public, I do not think it is anything negative, or questioning.

If you mean to not show, then you can cancel the score you get. Only you will get to know it if you have already seen it.

-How about West Point Military Academy?

-I don’t want colleges to see my ‘bad’ scores.
If I don’t want them to be seen does it appear that I have never taken the test?
