Anyone have an idea about Carnegie Mellon’s past acceptance stats from their waitlist. My cousin got waitlisted at CMU SCS, and he wants to gauge his shot at admission now.</p>

<p>Neither General nor Puttu applied for FA at Midd. Thank god for that! Had they done so, they would not be having the acceptance letters in their pockets.
@Puttu- BIG BIG CONGRATULATIONS ON SWARTHMORE! I MEAN, THEY REJECTED BARACK OBAMA (who got into Harvard :P). It’s a stunning stunning school! Wow! Any doubts you may have on getting a job should completely vanish now. The repute of Swarthmore is nothing short of extraordinary. Be quick to tell Midd. that you’re not going there, so that I can get off the wait list LOL!

<p>Thanks so much nishadpotdar! I’m still STUNNED that I managed to get in. I feel very blessed. I am planning to withdraw from certain schools early next week. I still have 4 more to hear from then need to make a decision. Haven’t 100% decided between Midd and Swat yet - waiting to hear from the others. But like I told nemo, I wish we could tell schools we’re withdrawing from whom to give our spot to. And I agree with you, both this thread and the HCAT have become almost interchangeable now.</p>
