India Travel Advice (Mumbai, Allahabad, Madurai)

India travel advice, please! I am planning an early April business trip to these 3 places (yes, in that order).
I have been to India before, but only Mumbai.

I am planning to fly from Mumbai to Allahabad (there is an Air India nonstop).

Getting from Allahabad to Madurai is challenging, so I’m going to fly back to Mumbai on one day and then fly direct to Madurai the next day, as any routing between the two airports was inevitably 16 or more hours and not worth it.

  1. Safety in these cities? I will be meeting clients there, but will not be traveling with them.
  2. Sights to see? I have toured Mumbai already, so my interest is more in squeezing the most out of my time in Allahabad and Madurai.
  3. How should I feel about Air India?

Havent heard snything about Air India. D flew from Mumbai to Chennai, and thought it was fine, might have been indian airlines.
