<p>You have solid academics, ECs, and test scores. But the fast-track medical programs are incredibly competitive: they make Harvard and Yale look like relatively easy admits. The competition is incredibly tough, and while you have a very strong profile, it may be middle-of-the-pack among those in the running. Sometimes, it just comes down to luck.</p>
