<p>talking of fantasy, has anyone read Eragon- by Christopher Paolini, I wouldn’t say that he is better than Tolkien or any other writer, cuz i believe they all have their own styles, but considering that he wrote the book when he was fifteen, I’d say he is bound to make it real far.</p>
<p>Oh Laila: I love Dan Brown!! Have you read ‘The Secrets of the Code’? I’ve been dying to read it but I’m putting it off till after my pre-boards. although I don’t think it has been written by Dan Brown
Adides: I haven’t read them, but I believe that there is another similar book apart from angels and demons.</p>
<p>I will have to read him…I have heard his name like fifty times in the last 4 days…my friend reading it,a review by a student in the college assembly, a book review in paper…from two more geeks talking about 'Angels… '.and now here on CC!</p>
<p>well i found an old book from my fathers collection, Solo Boxes…its fun!</p>
<p>I take back my statement about Martin being “better” than Tolkien. The stories are really not comparable…I think Martin’s storyline is more complex and believable than Tolkien’s, though Tolkien’s descriptions are definitely better. Read it and find for yourself…</p>

<p>Eragon was a good story but the book itself was not very well written…the use of a thesaurus is apparent all through the book and the likeness to Tolkien stretches beyond just the genre…I found whole sentences exactly out of Tolkien. It’s just good “timepass” though</p>

<p>Astrix - Angel & Demons can be considered ‘prequel’ to the code, if you’d like to say that. Other than that I dont believe that there is a prequel per say

If you indicate that you will NOT apply for financial assistance and you are admitted to Stanford, you will NOT be granted any aid during your years at Stanford.”</p>
<p>So I guess they are telling me tht we will reject u if u apply for fin aid, but might accept you if you dont apply for fin aid. suckers</p>
