Hi, i am from India and into my final year of bachelor course at NIT Allahabad, i had been working in fluid dynamics since may’2010, i have 8 research papers that have been accepted til date and 3 papers that have been sent to international journals for review, my work has been in both fields experimental and computational my bachelor course will end in May 2012 i.e. a month and half from now and then i’ll join as a Research assistant at IIT Delhi under a prof who himself is a phd from stanford, i have a join in Tata group company(TATA MOTORS) but i am not joining to carry on my research i have done a lot of work with my regular semester and hence affecting my CPI i.e 7.66/10 according to my college scale but according to US scale it comes out to be 8.17/10 i.e. 3.27/4 i’ll give my GRE within a few months and it’ll be almost 6 months of my intern at IIT Delhi when i’ll apply, i wish to get through Berkley or Stanford OR MIT how good are my chances and if not there what should i aim for and i definitely need financial aid.
And how is the job situation in Fluids and CFD in US for non-US citizens

Are you sure you calculated your GPA correctly, because if you did, that is not going to look good at all for any of those schools you have listed. They are looking for a minimum of a 3.5 (US scale) and a 720+ Quant. score. You need to apply to more than just the tree schools you listed.

This website should help.

[Search: Science Programs | US News](http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/search.result/program+top-science-schools/top-computer-science-schools+y)

But, on the job front. There are many places that use computer scientist for Fluids and CFD (auto manufacturing, aerospace, etc), but you should just worry about getting in school first, and worry about a job later.
