<p>So I <em>finally</em> got my MIT package today, after numerous frantic phone calls to the US and local DHL offices, sleepless nights, empty stomachs… and whatnot… :)</p>

I made up loads of stuff in the objective part and they alled turned out right :)</p>

<p>umm…i am gonna sound stupid but exactly wat are JEE and AIEEE?? and so far only me and akash noe mit decisions in this thread…and Perfectdark9 of course :)</p>
<p>JEE - Joint Entrance Examination, for the Indian Institutes of Technology. The best engineering colleges in the country, many claim they are among the best in the world. Whatever it is, the selectivity there make MIT look like a walk in the park - although thats only in terms of simple numbers and doesnt take into account lots of other factors (dont get me started). Ranking in this exam decides your major (more or less) in the event that you get in</p>
<p>AIEEE - All India Engineering Entrance Examination - the one stop shop for deemed universities in India, including the National Institutes of Techonolgy (which are different from the IITs). An objective exam, where ranking decides what college you go to.</p>
