<p>but got couple of more acceptances this week :cool: so i dont care…</p>

<p>let me tell you all about this 1 guy, who has been the biggest influence in my life so far…</p>

<p>so this guy was 22 and applied to top mba programs in the US…probably one of the best candidates to apply in each and every category but was waitlisted at his dream school (ivy). he finally was accepted to that ivy, but decided not to go there coz he had doubts about their judgement skills. he ends up getting his mba from other school.
today, he is 26 and has 8 ivy, mit, etc mbas (mostly in their 30s) workin for him. when he was interviewin for his job, ceo of fortune 25 co., while swinging in his big chair, asked him “so i have candidates from harvard, mit, chicago, wharton, etc. applyin for this position - why should i hire you” and he replies, “those candidates got to this stage because of the school they went to, I got here because of who I am. The question you have to ask yourself is the level of risk you want to take. Do you want to hire an average person from a great school, or want to hire a great person from an average school”…he got the job.</p>

<p>then start NOW. I had a chem exam on a monday, started preparing on sunday and ended up attempting around 5 marks out of 18 in Organic Chem :(</p>

<p>And Chem was supposed to be in my BFS. Now I’ll have to include Bio which is always a dicy things specially ince the practicals were an unmitigated disaster :frowning: :(</p>

<p>Oh, and does Princeton also have this funny ‘5 admits from india’ buisiness?</p>

<p>P.S. - I use the word funny knidof like a figure of speech. I do not think that policy is even slightly humourous.</p>

<p>inorganic? Ha! You have no clue how much I made up in that section. Thankfully it comes along with stuff like thermodynamics and reaction mechanism so it wasnt too bad. And Al, the only metal I had studied came. :)</p>
