<p>shash_rao: honestly, it is not a bad place and it does have a lot of resources (of course no match for top US engi schools)… the govt does pump quite a lot of money in educatn and sadly if u are determined and disciplined, u can do very well, undertake extra projects, go on exchange programmes etc… yet to hear abt ntu but my friend’s cousins came to study computers at nus and was on dean’s list for 2 yrs. nus has sent him to stanford for one whole yr now and they are payin for him… oh ya, he was on some NUS scholarship here… u shid Definitely apply for scholrships if u still can…
but then again, i am applying cos i have too… a bttr resource wud be students form india who are studyin there now and how they feel… </p>
