<p>now to get down to college talk again: someone said a few pages back (neha, i think) that applying to the same college again means 90% chance of rejection. You do realize that 90% chance of rejection means 10% chance of acceptance, which is at least 2x the admit rate of intls at places like MIT, and at least 1-2% higher than the admit rate of most other places.</p>
<p>So you effectively said that applying again to MIT or other such high calibre schools will double your chances. :-/</p>
