Hey sorry, I missed that message in the avalanche :p

Hmm apart from Shabin’s post, I’m not sure what you, sitting in Delhi (or Boston) can do to directly help Oxygen, since at the moment it’s very local. If you ever come to Patna, though, make sure you reach 3rd floor Krishna Aptt, Boring Road on a Sunday, at 10 AM :slight_smile: You’ll see the zeal… what we require the most is spreading the word about it (which, you see, I keep doing online!) so that more and more people get aware of this. Currently, spreading awareness is biggest on agenda. Plus, they also have an idea of starting a wholly independent school, but i haven’t been to the discussions for months now, so I’ll ask my sister for more details.

You never know adi :wink: right, premanjali…? :stuck_out_tongue: And as far as the choice between BBAIT or BCA goes, I looked at the curriculum and I’m waiting for you to come online sometime (tomorrow night?) so I can explain. Contrary to what everyone is saying, I’m not the best person to ask for career advice :stuck_out_tongue: But I do have an idea about the topics mentioned, so I’ll help as far as i can.

5 pages of new posts ? ? ? :eek:

Anyway Such by the Harvard example i meant that noone including you should care abt so trivial :slight_smile: ( i mean does it really matter if you get to know it or not)

anyway Neha unweighted GPA would be 3.3/4 and weighted would be 4.2/4

and if you still dont get it forget IT!!! You are done with US colleges for now ! and btw congrats on those sweet acceptances :slight_smile: ( told ya you supposed “clash” of business and engg wouldnt be a big deal)

■■■■ - cool thanks Astrix :cool:

this is so bewildering…:confused:

I better start posting again.There is a desperate need for some order here;)

=======================================================

hey SHABIN

i support child labour.

what do the kids do if they stop working? starve?
our government isnt providing any assistance to the kids.

so until they do, its our duty to support the kids by buying their products etc.

sometimes u have to look at things practically, not idealistically.

@~flamethrower~@

======================================================

Yeah I support child labour too. but the govt should try to regularise it in the form of vocational training and apprenticeships.

For eg-while on a trip to Egypt,I had the opportunity to visit a govt school where kids were taught carpet weaving along with basic education and were paid for their work.I feel we shud try to lay more emphasis on practical training in atleast some field at every school…esp in rural areas which cud lead to more opprtunities for job creation

the gov’s trying to do teach vocational skills etc… but its clearly inefective.

i think the army should enroll underprivilidged kids (compulsorarily?)

well anything compulsary in my opinion is detrimental.However there is a huge need for educational revampment in govt schools in rural areas…what do you say?

yup
need more schools
need less temples/mosques etc
need more infrastructure
need less cricket

hey are you still in the US or back in Mumbai?

Do u have Yahoo/MSN messenger?

just pm’d you akash
