BUnker 13 is the worst book I read–for starters its in the 2nd person, and it richly deserves its BAD SEX Award

Hey everybody check this out and no it’s not another spot the differences kinda thing.

thats crazy testing… but then i did just finish 6 hours of APs… and i have 2 more of those 6 hour days… and 2 more of just 3 hour days

That’s really good news for all my friends who plan on writing the IIT entrances. :)

heh yea i am taking 5 IBs and 5 Aps

wow lol don’t you think there’s a really weird coincidence that I wrote that IIT should be able to merge with CBSE and ICSE and this article comes out 2-3 days later :D

Does someone on times of india read TiT :D

Looks more like somebody from the HRD ministry does a lot of lurking here, either way a better IIT entrance is always welcome.

hey ppl. long time did’nt post…so wazup… ??

ahh, i see shekar has finaly started posting here regularly… :p

hey guys, tell me if u prefer nus or ntu? where wud u go n briefly why? any other reason than the rankings?? thnx!! i wud really appreciate ur comments and hopefully as many as poss of u will ans… :p

What happened to SMU?

neha, you should probably also ask for Engg/Business pros and cons. dont know about nus. Ntu seems to be fine but the 3 year (or is it 6 year?) bond is the problem.

about the IIT thing, the ‘high level panel’ is going to be a bunch of dumb illiterate politicians and corrupt government officials who will do their best to make the admission procedure opaque, not easy. They just care about their crappy elections and bribes and therefore will make people think they are doing the right thing while all they are doing is making themselves a back door.

shekar. if you think you are unlikely to see him, let me know and i’ll <sigh> call him up. I dont want to do that otherwise because i dont want to speak with him and he will probably give me some ******** anyway.

EDIT - the censoring put in the correct number of asterixes this time.

well during my smu scholrship interview it was concluded that i dunno wat course to pursue and since i have been so ‘science’ based all the time they think i am gonna end up in engi rather than business so they did not call me back regardin the scholarship… so rite now i am like screw them… :p

ntu i am not gettin any scholrship and nus they have not started shortlisting yet…

shash and shekar: u guys in same school??

shashank, itz a 3 yr bond

why no ntu scholarship? i thought every got a 75% or so ‘scholarship’ if you’r willing to work for (i dont know who) for 3 years

no. We were in the same coaching place in the 10th (maybe even 9th). Although we never really met there, we have a very large set of mutual acquaintances.

grades not gd enuf…

wait, i think u might be mixing up scholarship and ministry tuition grant…any can take tuition grt as long as serve 3 yr bond…
with ntu sch, u dun pay anything at all…

i think the SIA_NOL scholarship comes with a 6 year bond. (not sure about that though)

the ntu sch comes with a 3 year bond too, doesnt it?

or maybe thats just for internationals.

if it doesnt, then i think i’ll consider NTU once again (assuming they dont follow the herd and reject me)

and neha, didnt you get As in your a levels?

ya 6 yr for that… not sure if u have to add 3 yr bond (cos of grant) to 6 yr sia-nol…but 9 yrs wud be ridiculous…

have u heard from ntu yet??

no. i think they said may end. and then some sort of interview if im shortlisted for the scholarship
