Well the time period for one complete vibration is 2 x [2h/g]^0.5 so the frequency is its inverse i.e. option 3.</p>
<p>Since the collision with the ground is perfectly elastic it hits the ground and rises to the same height and hence again takes the same time to hit the ground and so on. Now the time of descent here is equal to time of ascent and both r equal to [2h/g]^0.5. hence T is 2* [2h/g]^ 0.5 and frequency is its inverse.</p>
