i saw ‘Indian Thread’ so decided to drop by.

this looks more like a lounge than a college discussion forum…he he…suits me.

MERC:

A direct consequence of Adides’ absense

Congrats on the 6000th!! and cmon now i didnt even get the 5000th!,

btw such, u crying when u got 96??? ok then should i commit suicide when i get my results?? i dont think that i’ll cross 60! and that too in my maharastra state board

96 in English is not a lame achievement.it’s amazing…how many people get that? Come on…don’t be so negative…I’d love a 96 in any subject right now.

hey i got into uwc usa and wanted to know if anyone on this forum git inot uwc too(pune or anything).do u people feel its worth goin to usa uwc and will it actually help cuz i got only 50 % scholarship.still paying 10K $ a year all inclusive but if u come to look at it i am paying as much as an ambani student.
i wanna go to mit after 2 years and wanted to know if anyone hre has an idea abt the rai university dean who supposedly sends 2 indians to MIT 100 %.

Nope. ISC English papers are corrected very well… you can expect 90+ if you know what you are writing… 1 in 10 student got 90+ in my class… even I got 88 when I left out a whole 20 mark question (so, 176 out of 180!)… Had I attempted that, I’d have been 95+ right now, and my English is only “good” and not excellent :p

Ayn… Where did you get this piece of info from?
MIT admits just 4-5 students from India each year… not sure how anyone can “send 2 students” to MIT every year.
And Rai’s affiliation has been revoked :p

i did decide but i have not officially accepted and i have been offered a some university scholar prog by nus now [it is NOT a monatary scholrship] juz a more ‘prestigious’ prog with soem extra stuff so ya…i am still confused…
