Same thing. My kid was admitted to IU ā€œPre-Businessā€ and it said that Kelley direct admit decisions will follow.

Itā€™s when you said Kelley is the only one that matters. Thatā€™s the part thatā€™s off putting. And Iā€™m saying this as someone with a kid who applied to Kelley. Anyway, all good and good luck!

Have you check the portal - seems to be a wave of updates happening now.

All the Kelley people should check their portals. No Kelley decisions yet but we now have a letter of admission in the portal (which was not there l day)

Donā€™t be worried. Youā€™re likely getting into Kelley as a DA eventually (and if not, you should have other great options).

Our letter says that right now my daughter is admitted to the university pre business. But it acknowledges she applied to Kelley and did the required questionnaire. It says Kelley decisions will be announced at a later date. Maybe later today, who knows!

It used to be automatic based on grades and test scores (youā€™d have qualified by a lot). There was an appeals process for those not granted DA status that way.

This year, for the first time, there is no automatic DA qualification. Everyone is being assessed holistically (which is probably why they need more time).

Unlike other universities, the process to get into Kelley even if not direct-admitted seems pretty straightforward. You take classes your freshmen year with the Kelly kids. If your grades are good and you fill out applications decently, it seems that you are into Kelly for your second year.
