Kelly admissions told me the same. Said those who didn’t have a wait list option will be hearing a decision by today around 5 p.m. Those on the wait list could hear any time between now and April 17 - as spots open.

How do spots open if the commit date is May 1??
Some people will decline earlier than May 1 - like say they get into their ED 2, etc.
Just talked to Kelley Undergrad Admissions. I was admitted pre-business and did not get a waitlist offer for Kelley. Was told that they will be sending out it an email today with more information and there will be chances of people to get offered a spot on the waitlist. She said there is now way to now be offered direct admit unless we get offered to be added to waitlist. Meaning our current decision is pre-business and slight chance that a few people may be offered waitlist spots today. Likely most people will stay pre-business I assume.
Does anyone know what the percent is admitted out of the 33k?
Just want to clarify that is 33k to Kelley? Not the university as a whole?

That’s so weird I called twice to get info from 2 different people and both of them said that acceptances are coming out today.
So strange! Did you call the 812-855-4474 number that was in the Kelley Undergrad Website? Very weird that they’re telling different people different things. Hoping that your information is more correct than mine though!!
Yeah I called that, and it’s like a help line so multiple people are answering calls
Called again and no answer. Guess we’ll just have to wait til 5pm and see what happens.
Did the person who talked to you specifically say there will be some people who get acceptances into Kelley? As well as people getting waitlisted?
As per Kelley’s website:
Direct admission offers will be made on a rolling basis from January 15 through April 17. Because Kelley is a limited-capacity program, offers will be extended based on academic merit and the availability of space in the incoming direct admit class.
So, they are saying that they will keep sending some offers till April 17, 2026

Yes I made sure multiple times. I asked is there any difference from the people getting accepted today and the people that got in yesterday and she said no. Both people said there is no difference.
And there will be waitlist offers AND acceptance offers today and ofc rejection
Ugh this is crazy that we got different responses then. Seems like their admissions are just not as organized this year due to the influx of applicants. Still confused on if we’re waiting for decisions or not 
. Let’s hope we see acceptances today!!
Yes that is just Kelley. The number applying the entire University was 73,000 last year and most expect that number to be higher this year due to the football team’s success. Good luck to everyone hearing today!

Got the pre-business thing yesterday and NO email today. Argh
I have to ask again because these numbers are stunning. 33k to Kelley? How many applicants are they admitting direct to Kelley and how many will transfer to the college from pre-business as Sophmores? I know Kelley is a big subset of IU but I didn’t know the demand was that high.
