Those schools, HLS, Media, Eskanzi are part of CAS so if you receive DA to CAS you also receive DA to those schools if your intended major falls within those 3. I do not believe you receive DA to just HLS for example.

Our kiddo was comfortably above the requirements for DA into CAS (>3.5 UW GPA, >26 ACT submitted), so hopefully it all works out.
My daughter applied the first week of October. Everyone wants to know–you can think it’s good news or bad news. You hear when you hear, it’s literally the 1st week of December.
I could be wrong, but I think they are a direct admit unless it says “Univ Div” which is University Division.

Clearly decisions are being rolled out daily. We heard this morning and my son applied in August. He was admitted directly into Kelley.

Congratulations! DS was accepted Pre-Music Ed and waiting on prescreen results to see if he will be invited to audition. Jacobs is an amazing music school, top in the country. They have an option to do music with a non-music option dual degree. Professors and admissions recommended it when we visited. Good luck to your DD!

My D24’s email said she was admitted to Media School - no mention of CAS.
Most instruments/music majors require applicants to submit an audition video as a prescreening requirement with the Jacobs Supplemental Application.

S24 got the email on Friday with a direct admit to Hamilton Lugar for an International Studies degree, and encouraged him to submit GSA (I think that was what it was called) for scholarships.
His stats are as follows:
94/100 UW GPA
SAT 1400 (super score 700/700)
6 APs
6 Dual Enrollments
Intended Major: international studies and languages
Average ECs
NY is home state
2 varsity sport athlete

I looked at my son’s email last night. There was no mention of the College of Arts and Sciences. It said something to the effect that he was accepted in IU and received a direct admit into Hamilton Lugar.

Got it , my DD is doing Audio and Sound production more of music production. She submitted portfolio. Not sure exactly how this works

Congratulations! DS applied received acceptance but he missed one of the Auto DA criteria and submitted a Kelley DA review request a few weeks ago. Not sure when the decision for that will come out.

my ds also applied to audio and sound production. he got his general iu admission acceptance- it said “pre-music.” so we’re still waiting to hear about his prescreen/portfolio results. the website says audio/sound production has invite interviews- and emails are sent 3-4 weeks before interview dates.
