The university ID is a ten digit number that would have been in an email from IU shortly after you applied.

Thanks. Thatās what I am using to register. Maybe I will try tomorrow. He got admitted just this afternoon so maybe the system hasnāt refreshed associating his ID with admitted status AND direct admit.
You might want to go ahead and reserve hotel rooms while youāre waiting to actually register for the DA day. You can always cancel a hotel room if you need to pick a different day.
Thanks. Did that a couple of weeks ago after the Program changed from University Div Pre-Business to Business Undergraduate. Based on this thread, I assumed something positive was afoot!

I just spoke with my daughter. We are thinking that the āapplicationā status is bad news. This is speculation, but I think it is a āholdingā status until they notify you of denial on the 1/15 date. I canāt fathom being denied as her stats are above Kelley DA, but this has been a crazy admissions cycle and it could be that IU is being flooded with super high quality applicants.
no petition. his GPA is higher than 3.8, and SAT score was higher than 1370 so we assumed he is a direct admit to Kelley.
i dont think so unless there was a red flag in the essay or elsewhere. Dont stress. She will get in!

My guess would be not more than once a day but not entirely sure.

My sonās status always said āapplicantā until today it updated to āadmitted.ā

I dont think anyone knows for sure. They are doing things differently this year. My sonās portal updated around 2-3pm.
Mine remained applicant the entire time and I was just admitted today (OOS, Biology BS), good luck and I hope you hear soon!!

Iāve heard some people call the Admissions Office and they said it does not mean anything, however starting to get worried as others are saying their statusā never changed and are now admitted.

Yeah, Iām not sure I believe that. There have been too many portal astrology issues (look at the Clemson thread) where admissions says one thing but clearly know something different and are not told the full truth. I think it is pretty clear at this point āapplicationā is not good.
What time did you get notification?
