Accepted OOS, but Pre-Business. DS did fill out the Kelley Review Request back in November. At this point, there is no more Review Requests to add correct? It is what it is? Does Pre-Business mean you need to have a min B- on every class you take to get into Kelley?
Kid got an email at 2:50 Eastern, OOS Pre-business. High school does not print GPA on transcripts, so will petition to Kelley for DA. Frustrating because kid would have qualified otherwise! Glad to get a positive decision, regardless.

This was just acceptance to IU (since it sounds like ur son was not an auto-admit). Now that your son is accepted, AOâs will evaluate your sonâs review request (they have not even looked at it yet).

A B in every class you take including gen ed classes and no withdrawals or incompletes. They apply in the spring.
I still havent heard back , am i rejected?
We are also still waiting! My student has 4.0 UW & 1500+ SAT so lack of status should not be viewed as rejection. Somehow, we are probably in the very last batch. Sigh.

Likewise for your student! This dribbling notification is far worse than notification in one batch like other schools.
Separately, for all of those who must fill out the Kelley petition to be considered for direct admission, but havenâtâŠget on that. Those who must file a petition include (not a fully inclusive list) students who donât meet both of the direct admit criteria, those who applied TO, those whose HS doesnât put GPAs on the transcript, and those who attended more than one HS.
Petitions to be considered for direct admit are due Feb 1.
Just note if you have a direct admit somewhere you may want to take it.
A poster the other day got below a B - and now canât get in - so at a school where they canât major in what they want.
If you truly want to study business, consider picking a direct admit and avoiding the stress of the entire next year.

I agree. ESPECIALLY if your student would be participating in Greek Life at IUâŠit can be difficult for some students to balance pledging and academics.
