Industrial Mgmt.

I’m really reconsidering whether I want to major in accounting, as really I like it but, it appears as though it could get kind of tedious, and umm…not as fun as I orignally thought. I’m at Purdue and they have an Industrial Management major, which has pretty much 100% job placement, and I feel as though it would be better than pure management, only problem is it requires some math all the way up to Multivariate Calculus. Now for some of you guys that may seem like nothing. For those that have taken it, can someone who has consistently struggled at all levels possibly grasp the concepts of Calculus II, let along Multivariate at a school like Purdue of all places. When I say I struggle I mean I struggle like C’s. Or should I op for Industrial Tech. where only PreCalc is required(thats wierd the school of management requires a lot of math) and it has the same job placement rate but, It’s a different school and I’d have to take like 7 or 8 courses. Can a person of say average intelligence pass Calc II and Multivariate?

Oh yea it requires Physics and Chemistry also. If I did pass those courses, I’d feel extremely proud, as I would have tackled a great phobia of mine.

Either way it goes if I stay in the school of management I have to atleast pass Applied Calculus II.

no one has taken multivariate?

um…i’m a freshmen second semester planning to do IE in the same school as you. I took calc III on the first semester. Personally to get A is hard on that class if you’re not that good in math, however getting a B on the calc III imo is quite easy. I thought i was getting a B but in the end I managed to get an A. If you do the homework, i’m sure you can do at least a B.
