Just got an email that we are not eligible for FAFSA. Anyone ever get such a notice. Tried to call them but their office is closed.

There is no such thing as not being “eligible for FAFSA”.
FAFSA is just an application that determines your eligibility for federal aid (Pell grants, federal loans), and is used by many colleges to collect information for other aid/grant recipients.
My daughter was never eligible for federal aid, but we still had to submit the FAFSA application every year in order to get the merit aid and regional grants she was eligible for.
Who sent you this “email”.
If you are an international student, you are not eligible to file a FAFSA.
