Info required: MS in chemical Engineering (Specialization:Process Design)

I am desirious of doing MS in Chemical Engineering specializing in Process Design or Piping Design.

Can some one gimme me names of the Universities providing Graduate studies in this field.

Your help will be highly appreciated.

Most universities offering advanced degrees in chemical engineering will have a process design specialization. IMO, Texas schools have more foundation/expertise in chemical process design, since Texas is the center of refining and chemical manufacturing.

For process design, check out these programs:
UT-Austin, Texas A&M, Rice, Delaware, Carnegie Mellon, Minnesota

thanks a lot for ur post, UCBChemEgrad.

I will definitely have a look at the websites of the univs u suggested.
I would like to seek more help from you, if you dont mind…

well my profile is as follows: –
GRE 1200
TOEFL 92
GPA: 3.35
Work experience: 1 year

could you plz suggest some universities (providing process design specialization) suiting my profile?

Thanks again…

According to the GRE, mean engineering test scores are 470 verbal and 718 quantitative. Your overall score is above the mean, and engineering schools will place more emphasis on the quantitative score. I’m not familiar with TOEFL test scores.

I think some of the schools I listed would accept you.

U.S. News and World Report has a graduate school database with rankings and average admissions data. You can go to their website and gain access…it’s $14.95 for one year.
