<p>A lot of posters looking for chances write out paragraphs about their ECs and such that really flesh out their applications. That’s all well and good, but how can adcoms see the same information when the CommonApp allows a very limited space for explaining activities? In other words, colleges can’t see the wonderful contributions so-and-so has made to his art club, thereby “bringing focus” to his application and whatnot, in the sentence or so he wrote about it, which would seem to make chancing even less accurate. I suppose one could write more in the “extra info” section, but it seems as though that would make for a messy application.</p>
<p>I’d be interested to see how other CCers formatted their ECs, if they don’t mind sharing.</p>
