Innovation LLC at UIUC

Hey there everyone,
I am going to be a freshman at UIUC this year and am currently looking at joining the Innovation LLC at the school.

I guess my biggest worry is that I will find I like it less than I imagine because it is business oriented and I am a nuclear major. I also have someone whom I would like to room with but they will not be joining the llc so I would be leaving them behind.
Is the llc truly business oriented? Is it worth it to join and get the perks of using the garage?

Whether or not your roommate will be joining it should have no bearing on whether or not you join it. They will likely be a part of something that you are not. People have varied interests.

Most student organizations aren’t exclusive to people within given majors. I’m a physics major, and UIUC has a physics society, but it’s open to any students that are interested in joining.
