I was fortunate enough to be accepted into a number of prestigious universities in the most recent round of college admissions. I simply would like to hear a bit of insight on each of these schools. Initially, my intentions were to major in Mechanical Engineering but I’m not entirely set on that. If I am to go on and major in engineering my choices are between Columbia University in NYC, University of Illinois Urbana, and Northwestern. (I’m aware of the prestige in UIUC engineering programs, but the amount of aid given is far too little) But two other schools I am bit interested are the University of Chicago and Williams College. If I were to go to UChicago, I’d hope to be a Math with Specialization in Econ, Economics, and Physics major. And at Williams probably a Math/Econ major. Any advice.
