<p>my cons just told me this one… she had a student about a year back who had a 3.3 gpa and sats were in the high 1200s she applied early to University of Chicago was in love with that school… got defered and the admissions director called my dean to ask for more info about the girl and in the reg decisions round she got accepted… i hope this helped… dont get disheartened…
PS: she had no major ecs… no music or sports but was good with mock trial</p>
<p>mock trial in itself is a fairly good ec… if they had a true passion for it, it could be better than someone who has 10 ec’s but doesn’t care about any…</p>

<p>i was told she had done mock trial for 2-3 years but no sports or music … dont even think she was the president of the club but she loved the school and showed alot of interest</p>
