I follow National Geographic and Earthpix as both have beautiful pictures and stories. I enjoy our breeders page as well as a few other dog related pages. My kids and a few of their friends when many left FB. Local restaurants also are on my feed. Others are friends and family members, but most of us don’t past much, if at all. Usually it is a post of our grandkids
If you looking for some additional human positive moments in your feed try goodnews_movement. Sometimes funny, sometimes heartwarming. I like it in the midst of my other follows.
I got on Instagram because I was taking a Chinese Ink Painting class and the teacher often talked about artists she liked that she was following there. Several of my fellow students posted there as well. I used it mostly to post my art work and to follow artists I like, but I also post a lot of pictures of gardens and occasional pictures of food.
In addition to various artists I also follow Huangshan and Japanese National Parks. Because they are beautiful landscapes.
I don’t mind that my Facebook feed is full of politics, but I unfollowed someone who was only posting political stuff on Instagram. (Even though we agree politically!)
