I had a totally different plan for the next two years, but now they have been ruined; I didn’t get the chance to apply to UMD priority. ;[

Would major in Computer Science, most likely that will change when I get into college and have more time to think about it.

I’m just worried sick that I won’t even get in because I didn’t apply priority, as my previous plans are now tarnished. Crap.

I have a friend who last year didn’t apply early admission, and he had a uw GPA around 3.3 and a w GPA around 3.8, lower SAT scores, and a lot less EC. He got accepted for spring enrollment. I think you should be fine for either fall or spring enrollment.

W/ your interest in math + science, why don’t you also apply at UMBC?
They have strong math and science programs. Its my 2nd choice, and I’ve been told it has better prep for students who want to go into a technical field.

I agree with what armamaryland said, if you’re going for Computer Science as a major, you should definitely consider UMBC. They have an excellent CS program.

Although I don’t think UMBC has stronger math/science/CS programs than CP, I agree you should also consider and apply there too. I think you have a reasonable chance at UMD-CP, but you should also plan for backups, just in case. Good luck!
