Instate Tuition - No waiting period

After my S, rising senior, graduates high school, we are anticipating moving to a location with a better employment rate than where we currently live. Something that is important is to get in state tuition rates in those states we move to with out a waiting period. Two states on our list so far, Ohio and Tennessee, seem to have no waiting period and students receive in state tuition as soon as they are domiciled in the state.

Anyone know of other states like this with no waiting period?

Illinois is out - that’s where we are now - ridiculous in state tuition levels and we can’t wait to get out of here.

So, in other words, you’re looking for a state with no waiting period for instate tuition to know where your son should apply? Assuming he’s applying to start next year, when he’ll be counted as out-of-state which normally makes admission more competitive, and even if there’s no waiting period after you are domiciled, it may take longer than you think for the school to agree that you are a permanent resident, and eligible for instate tuition.
