<p>I am looking to major in engineering. Can someone name the pros and cons of going to each for an undergraduate engineering degree. Can someone also name their top 10 Institute of Technoligies for engineering and their top 10 universities for engineering.</p>
<p>“Institute of Technology” is just a name some universities use. MIT and Caltech, for example, are universities. The name may indicate that the school, either historically or currently, has particular emphasis on certain fields, but beyond that the name “institute of technology” doesn’t distinguish an engineering program from one at any other university. You need to research engineering programs at many schools, irrespective of their names.</p>
